Viewpoints near Spartilas

If you want to see Corfu Town from above but don’t want to go all the way up to Mount Pantokrator, there are several spots offering panoramic views of the town, as the northern part of the island is mostly mountainous, making it easy to find scenic spots.

On the route from Ipsos to Spartilas, about 4-5km after Ipsos, there is a part of the road with continuous sharp turns. From there, when the road allows, you can enjoy views of Ipsos and Dassia beaches from above, with Corfu Town and the small islands of Vido and Lazaretto visible in the distance.

The best spot along the road is next to Agnantio Restaurant. There is a small area where you can stop and enjoy the panoramic view. Click here to view the location on Google Maps. The only downside is that parking can be difficult, as most nearby spaces are private.

Another viewpoint with panoramic views, where you can stop with your car, is the area around the football field and cemetery of Spartilas village, about 8km from Ipsos. After passing through the village, once you see the sign marking the end of Spartilas, turn right about 20 meters after the sign. Follow the road for 600 meters, and you will reach the viewpoint.
